GetReset Home is a Charlotte, NC home-cleaning service. We collect only what we need to price, schedule, and deliver cleanings — and we don't sell your information or share it with advertisers. Here's the full picture, in plain language.

What we collect

  • Quote and booking details — your name, email, phone, service address, and what you tell us about your home (size, rooms, condition, pets, parking and access notes). If you choose to upload photos for a manual quote, we store those too.
  • Account information — when you sign in to manage appointments we use your email or phone with one-time codes. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
  • Chat messages — if you use the on-site chat, we keep the conversation so we can follow up. Chat sessions are automatically deleted after 180 days. Your IP address is stored only as a salted hash, not in readable form.
  • Site usage— we measure pageviews and clicks with anonymous first-party cookies (`grh_vid`, `grh_sid`) that contain random identifiers, never your name or contact details. IPs in analytics events are salted-hashed. We honor the Do Not Track browser setting, and store your choice in a `grh_dnt` cookie so it sticks.
  • Referrals— if you arrive through a friend's referral link we set a `grh_ref` cookie holding that referral code, so their credit can be applied when you book. It contains no personal details about either of you and is used for nothing else.
  • Job applications — if you apply to work with us we collect your contact details and resume.

What we don't collect

We don't take payment on this site — at launch we invoice after the job, so no card numbers or bank details touch our systems. We don't run third-party ad trackers, and we don't buy or sell marketing lists.

Service providers we rely on

A small set of vendors process data strictly so we can operate: Vercel (website hosting and performance analytics), our database host, Resend (transactional email), Twilio (text messages and login codes), Anthropic (powers the chat assistant's replies), Mapbox (address suggestions as you type your street address), and Google Analytics if enabled (anonymous usage statistics). Each receives only what its job requires.

Text messages

Phone numbers are used for transactional messages about your estimate request, appointment, account access, and service updates — not marketing. We don't sell or share your number with third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or manage the SMS preference from your account. Message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

Email hello@getresethome.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll act on deletion requests within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (e.g., invoices).

Children

Our site and services are for adults booking home services and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect children's information.

Changes

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be called out to account holders by email.
